kayden going to the zoo!! - Part I

kelvin and i brought kayden to the zoo today!!

this will be a photo blog...
so that baby will have something to look at when he grows up...

kayden is playing with his toys while waiting for daddy and mommy to get changed...
see...he's dressed in his bumble bee suit!!

before we leave the house...its wise to keep the baby happy and full...
we're giving him some biscuits first...

baby's juz finishing his final mouth of biscuit....
"hmmm...where am i going later..."

okok...that's all for the time being...shall continue tomorrow....
its quite tiring today already...

recent updates

well...before anybody starts to think that this webby is abandoned...
i'd better start blogging again!

this 1mth+ hasnt been good...
remember i had a fall...
its not too good...
it was a fracture of the tailbone...
though its a useless bone...
the pain is quite a nuisance...
thus...i have to be put on physiotherapy for 6 weeks to help strengthen my back muscles...

i was also advised against traveling...
however...i didnt heed the advise as i thot i'm doing good...
i went tour leading...
in early nov...
i was in Ho Chi Minh city for 2 nights...

and tada...
i must have aggravated the condition...
cos i came back one day...
my back hurt so badly...
i nearly had to go back to the hospital A&E...
thus...i didnt make it for the Korea trip...
and the morning...we had to do a last min change of tour leader...
as i had went to the hospital...
i was in no shape to travel

at the hospital...
the doc gave me an injection to stop the pain...
more + stronger pain killers...
and 10 days hospitalisation leave to stay home
on top of these...
he also gave me light duty excuse till Dec...
and wrote me a letter to exempt from traveling duties till my next checkup
which is in Dec...

i think i nvr slept longer hours than these days at home...
i must have become a pig!!

i also have a new job offer...
and have gone for the interview...
and shortlisted!!!
its still in the travel line...
and i'm quite tempted to accept the offer...
but i'm very torn..between the new job and the old job...
to leave my current company at this time...
its really quite mean of me...
its peak season now...
and we're shorthanded
to down by one more staff
is really a very terrible thing that can happen
but i have to think about my future too ma!!!
the pay increment with this change of job....
could be something that i wouldnt even get staying another 2-3 yrs in the company!!

what shld i do lehz...
haiz~ must seriously consider about this...

i've been having quite severe mood swings and probs with my temper too!
i've become so short-tempered that i practically jump at the slightest things!!
i'm beginning to hate this person...
i dont even feel that this is me in my body...
everytime i look into the mirror...
this gal seems so distant... ... ...

Mid Autumn Festival

2 days ago...it was mid autumn festival...

i bought a Mickey Mouse lantern for kayden...

and we brought him out to play...

he loved it!!

and held on to his lantern refusing to let it go...

i guess my friends must have stopped visiting this blog...

anyway...crappy me...
cos i'm simply too bored at home...
i'm on mc again...
well...slowly read on and let me tell you what has been happening to me lately...

natas fair was held at Expo...
between 14-16 sep...
so for these 3 days...
i have been taking cab to expo...
early in the morning...
damn ex ok...
cost me almost $20 everyday...
then return...another about $5...
cos my manager sends us back to YCK...and i shared cab with my AM who lives in Yishun...
if not you think can be so cheap mehz...

well...thanks to the friends who came down and visit...
those who came down to book packages with me...
and also those who came and brought goodies for me!
btw...Kayden came to the fair too...
on sunday night...
he was super engrossed looking at all the balloons la...
i think he must have thot that they are very fascinating lo...

erm...this had been a good fair for us...
though not quite enough staffs...
but the sales was good...
a lot of genuine buyers = less talking and more sales...
woohoo

prep this time round was less hectic too...
i could go home almost before midnight every day...
except the night where we had the products briefing..

however...dunno why...
i made a lot of mistakes this year...
mistakes in selling...
mistakes in booking classes...
mistakes in even my products...
haiz~ i guess i must be extra vigilant next time round...

anyway...finally the fair is over...
but guess what...
right after the fair...
i was on 2 days mc...
i totally lost my voice...
the sore throat had started before the fair...
but i had no time and chance to rest...
so i guess that's why...right after the fair...it came out full blown...

ok...nvm....then wed...which was also ytd...
i went back to work...
then after lunch...
i only wanted to go to Watson's to get some more Strepsils and a drink...
and i was too lazy to wait for the lift...
viola...i slipped and fell down the stairs...
tried to get help in vain...
was simply too painful to move...
so i waited until almost 5-10 mins before i managed to call a colleague to come help me...
well...the ambulance was called in...
i was sent to SGH...
haha...fractured my tail bone...
aiya...sounds quite serious hoh...
but actually dun have so serious la...
i still can walk and things...
but cannot be sitted on the same position for too long...
cannot lie down...
cannot stand ...
cannot walk properly...
walking super slowly...(can you imagine...i took 30mins to walk from mrt station to my office this morning...)
anyway...still hurts...
so...i'm on MC for the rest of the week...

shall go take some rest now...
bye...and remember to pray for my recovery soon ok....

past weekend

haha...well...last weekend was great!!

went to double O for a clubbing session with the gals on friday night...

went home after class...

then met up with brenda and steve to go down together...

met up with the others inside dbl O...

had a fun fun time!! the only missing was my dearz...

he had gone for a game of mahjong...

then after clubbing...

went to bin's place to meet up with dearz...

he was totally knocked out already...

so i took over from the mj game...

together...we won quite a bit on the night~!

~woohoo~

sat was spent sleeping and at east coast subsequently...

we went to east coast with kayden for Man Yan's farewell...

but we had to leave a bit earlier than the whole thing ended...

cos kayden was asleep...

and we were afraid as it was getting dark...the mozzies will start coming out to bite kayden...=(

nonetheless...he was still cute as ever...

i'm sure u guys will agree with me after seeing the following pictures...

finally...he's tired...and drinking milk...

then sunday was spent wth dearz and his friends...

we went to buy my hp first...

but it was out of stock... ~boo~

so darling put a deposit...

in one week's time...i shall get my new hp!!! yeah....

after that...we went to Vivo to meet his friends for dinner...

i guess it must have been the baked spaghetti...

cos i had tummy upset after that...

after that we also went to Harry's to catch some football matches...

i was already not feeling well...

but hoh...dearz says that it must be me eating too much junk foods throughout the day la...

anyway...wahaha...

i'm getting my hp soon...yeah yeah yeah...waiting waiting

btw...i'm gonna be out of town tomorrow...

going for a star cruise famil trip...

and i got a balcony cabin!! with compliments from Star Cruise...

yeah...

probably...i can do a write-up about star cruise after this trip...

haha...after working on sat...
darling came to pick me and we went for movie!
we had lunch at PS...we went for jap food...
it was so delicious...
havent had a good meal with darling for a long long time already...
especially on a saturday!!

then we went to The Cathay for the new Jay Chow movie - "Secret"
wahaha...its quite predictable...
especially after reading some reviews...
we already knew some of the storyline...
the front was a bit draggy...
just some lovey dovey story...
but the back was good!
they handled the twist with much suspense...
i simply love it...

then we spent the whole day shopping in Orchard...
i didnt manage to get anything i wan though...

but i found out that my phone is out!!
wahaha,...
i'm so gonna get it...

Kayden was brave...

they were really loud...but he likes it...

he didnt allow us to block his ears for him...and cried whenever we did so...

he was very obedient that day too...

he didnt cry at the amount of strangers as we went with darling's platoon...

we dressed him in a bumble-bee suit...

a touching story

i just read a very touching story on email and i thought i'll share it with you guys...

the Little Boy and the PuppyA farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups. And set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of little boy.

"Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money."

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer.

"I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"
"Sure," said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle.

"Here, Dolly!" he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran. Dolly followed by four little balls of fur.

The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence,the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up... "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers.

In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.

Looking back up at the farmer, he said, You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands."

With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup.

havent been updating much lately...

had been pretty busy...

there's a Chengdu trip coming up in first weekend of Oct...

but this group no need tour leader...

so i no need to go with them...

then there's another group to Korea...

the weekend of the public holiday in Oct....

this is a big group...

almost 80 people...S$100k+++ in sales...

woohoo...i hope i hit my sales target for Oct...

this group will require 2 tour leaders...

i will go with another junior staff...but who...i still dont know yet...

i'm gonna miss another weekend...haiz~

last sunday...just managed to squeeze in some quality time together with darling...

we went for The Simpsons movie...!!!

so funny...the movie was short...but super funny!

i enjoyed it...dearz too!

and more importantly...its been quite a well since we went out together alone...

much less to say...for a movie...

we went to Yishun 10 for the show...after celebrating Ah Gong's 79th birthday...

i still havent blogged about my company trip that has past almost one month ago too...

the trip was short...but fun...
